Pastor Brian Hackmann
Pastor Hackmann has been serving the Lord and His flock here at Peace since July 2007. He graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, Wisconsin in May of 2007. He received a Divine Call to serve here in Eagle River upon completion of his Seminary study.
Pastor Hackmann and his family are truly enjoying the time that God is allowing them to serve in beautiful Alaska. Brian has been married to his wife Tricia since June of 2004 and God blessed them with 5 beautiful children. Alaina is 11 years old and loves watching the wildlife from the parsonage windows. She is in Sixth Grade. Karlee is 8 and is in Fourth Grade. She enjoys soccer and ballet. Lucas is 5 and is in Kindergarten. He loves Legos and all things Star Wars. He enjoys playing whatever sports he can, often turing household objects in baseball bats and hockey pucks. Samantha is 3 and is in our preschool. She has an infectious smile and loves playing with older siblings. She also loves helping her mother "mother" Addison our baby girl. Addison is a year and a half and toddles and giggles and hugs her way across the house. The 5 kids are a handful at times, but are great blessings from the Lord. He is so good to us!! Every day brings more and more joy and opportunity for them to grow physically and also to grow in God's grace and love.
Tricia grew up in Marshfield, Wisconsin. She graduated from Martin Luther College with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and an Associate's in Early Childhood Education. She taught for 5 years at our Little lambs of Peace Preschool, before stepping away for a time to be a mom. She has a heart for children and loves to teach and encourage them.

By grace you have been saved, through faith--this is not from you, it is the gift of God-- not by works, so that no one can boast. ~ Ephesians 2: 8-9
